Tyga: Releases Diss Track Towards Drake Named ‘Make It Work’

Fresh from dissing former label mates Drake and Nicki Minaj in Vibe Magazine. Tyga has decided to channel the beef in new diss track ‘Make It Work‘.

The star made it clear last week that he never liked Drake, he only pretended to befriend him for the sake of relationship with the label (Young Money / Cash Money). But, now that he’s leaving – he no longer has to pretend to like Drake.

On the track the rapper says, “Ni**as wanna take it there, we could take it there,”. He then continues, “why these ni**as wanna test me on the low though,” and more notably “ni**a never was my homie, all these b***hes know you’re corny.”

It will be interesting to see if Drake responds…

More interestingly Nicki Minaj is releasing her third single “Only” tomorrow featuring everyone who Tyga mentioned in his interview last week. The track will serve as the fourth offering from her highly anticipated “The Pinkprint” LP.  At this time we cannot say if the track is the official third single or a promotional single as was “LAN“.

On another note, the track features appearances from Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown – all of which Tyga mentioned in his interview last week.

Do you think Drake respond to Tyga’s diss?

Tyga Disses Drake & Nicki during Interview with Vibe Magainze

Fresh from his twitter rant bashing his record label, Tyga is yet again making headlines. And this time, it’s not because he’s rumored to be dating the youngest Kardashian sister, Kylie Jenner. But, because in his last effort to separate himself from the label he’s taken aim at label-mates Nicki and Drake.

The Star went on to tell Vibe, “Yeah, I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki Minaj“, but, that’s not all he said. He went on to tell the magazine, “I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is. But I been friends with Chris Brown for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang.”

The question that everyone has been asking is, “Why now”? Why did he he just now decide that since he’s leaving the label chose to air out that fact he doesn’t like Drake or Nicki Minaj. In fact, he was just the opening act for her world wide arena tour along with Misha B.

Just a few months ago he was partying with the star and shot a video with her and Young Money CEO Lil Wayne.

Why pretend to like them? There are plenty of artist that are on the same label but won’t do songs together because of personal differences. Tyga, the fact you’ve pretended to like them pretty convincingly, makes you almost as “fake” as Drake doesn’t it?

Besides, we all know who the true breadwinners for Young Money Are…

Drake: New Song Draft Day (Jay Z & Kanye Diss)?

Drake decided slip in a slight diss toward Hov in his latest Draft Day verse. He rapped “You know they love to pop all that shit when I’m not around/ But when I’m here, not a sound.”

During this time Drake was on the European leg of the “Would You Like A Tour” tour.

We also caught a slight Kanye diss? “How the game turn into the Drake show? Dog, what the fuck happen to so and so, where did they go? They too worried ’bout bitches and fashion, they go missin’ in action. And then you never notice they missin'”

Drake: Responds to Kendrick Lamar snub in ‘Control Verse’

The moment that fans have been waiting for has finally come… Drake responds to the Kendrick Lamar’s snub in ‘Control‘.

In a recent interview with Billboard Magazine Drake took the time out to acknowledge that he heard the verse. When asked what were his initial reactions he said. “I went about my day, went and got dinner and kept it moving. I didn’t really have anything to say about it.”

The rapper seemed to remain unbothered by the snub and thought “it just sounded like an ambitious thought. That’s all it was.”

The rapper continued on to tell Billboard Mag that “I know good and well that Kendrick‘s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”

People can debate all day long about who is the best and why. But in all honesty Drake has the stats to back up these strong words, of advisement to Kendrick.

After all his Album ‘Take Care’ has produced double the amount of sales ‘m.A.A.d city‘ has produced.

And actually, in the first week ‘Take Care‘ was released it sold 600,000+ copies well over half of what Kendrick‘s recent album has sold to date.

One argument that a lot of hip hop heads like to make is that, Drake‘s been out longer. And has already released two albums.

When in reality ‘m.A.A.d city‘ is Kendrick‘s sophomore album, his previous being ‘Section 80‘. Meaning, he is also a sophomore in the game, and has had time to establish a name for himself , as has Drake.

So, that argument doesn’t really work. But hey, its all hip hop and things are hardly ever taken personally. Being that the genre was built upon having beef, it all good fun.
