University of Illinois: Honor Student In Need of Financial Help to Study Abroad
I’m writing on behalf of one hardest working students I know, Cameron Veasey, to ask for your support in helping him fund his study abroad program in Rome, Italy.
First, a little about Cam: he went to South Shore School of Technology High School on Chicago’s south side. Cameron is a first generation college student, so neither of his parents attended college. But, that didn’t stop him — he’s currently a junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Advertising and Public Relations.
Cameron has been accepted to study in Rome through Arcadia University during the summer. He’s doing his part to get himself to Italy by picking up extra hours at work and creating a strict budget for his trip, and he needs our help. He’s aiming to raise all of his funds for his trip by April 20th.
This will be Cam’s first time going overseas, so this trip will be particularly special to him. If you are willing to make a donation to go towards his program fee and room and board, please go to Cam’s Go Fund Me page here.
